Actor and former Kapamilya talent Paul Salas is officially back as a Kapuso after signing a management contract with GMA Artist Center on Thursday.
The Starstruck Kids Avenger is happy to be back in his first home in showbiz, “I’m so happy to be here. Hindi ko po maitago yung ngiti ko, kasi na-o-overwhelm po ako sa pag-welcome sa’kin dito. I was a Starstruck Kid, and I’m glad that I’m finally home.”
His goal is to be entrusted with exciting roles that he hasn’t tried before. “I want to try action, kasi hindi ko pa po siya masyadong nagagawa so gusto ko po itong ma-try. At kung ano man pong plans ng GMA para sa’kin, talagang I’ll wait for it and I will grab the opportunity.”
Paul also looks forward to have a reunion project with fellow Starstruck Kids, and he is glad Miguel Tanfelix welcomed him home.
“I saw Miguel in one concert, that’s when he knew about the news, so he welcomed me back. Nag-catch up kami at masaya ako dahil hindi po nawala yung friendship at samahan namin dati,” he shared.
Paul concludes this significant step in his career and shares, “Mga Kapuso, I am home. Sana ay patuloy niyo po akong suportahan, and I promise to not let you down.”
Present in the contract signing and to welcome the young actor back as a Kapuso were Senior Vice President for Entertainment Content Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative ProductionsGigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora, and co-manager Perry Lansigan.
According to Rasonable, she wants to see Paul in different drama shows. She believes that a reunion project with his Starstruck batch mates would be possible, “He is a talented young actor so doon natin siya ilalagay sa drama shows.Maganda sanang magkaroon sila ng reunion nina Bea Binene, Miguel Tanfelix at mga kasabayan niya sa Starstruck Kids.”
