Jillian was introduced to the audience last Wednesday as a successful academic whose thesis about the Geumgangsando painting is paving the way to becoming a professor. With her life going according to plan, how can a painting from centuries ago take all of that away from her?
She questions Geumgangsando painting’s authenticity after her mentor found it, provoking him to sabotage her career.
But Jillian will stand her ground and will become motivated to prove her credibility. She then leads herself into a more thorough research and finds the diary of Shin Saimdang: the greatest woman artist of the Joseon era. She will discover Saimdang’s secrets that link to present time.
