Jake Cuenca has finally revealed the status of his romantic involvement with beauty queen-actress Kylie Verzosa.
They used to keep their lips tightly zipped when asked about the real score between them even though people see “the couple” posting sweet photos together in their respective social media accounts. But recently, the Kapamilya actor admitted that he’s dating the 2016 Miss International beauty titlist.
“We’ve been dating for seven months now and I’d rather that we’re both there at the same time in confirming something. But personally, I want to be open with what I feel. That’s why I’m saying now that I love Kylie from the bottom of my heart. I love her so much. This is the happiest I’ve ever been,” Jake confesses.
It’s public knowledge that before Kylie, the Kapamilya was in a relationship with American model Sara Grace Kelley. Unfortunately, they broke up in the latter part of 2016. With his revelation, it’s clear that Jake is ready to fall in love once again.
“I’m just so happy that I’ve met Kylie at this point in my life. At 31, I guess I’m more mature when it comes to relationships. I’m more disciplined now and I know I can take care of her. I want to be deserving of her and that’s what I work for every day,” he says.
“I feel that the timing is perfect because, for two years, I underwent the process of fixing myself. If you’ll notice, I was able to focus on my career during that period. As you can see, I was able to fulfill some endeavors like doing theatre, studying in the US, making movies and appearing in various TV programs. Now I feel that I’m prepared to be in a new relationship once again,” he adds.
Jake also says that he already sees himself ending up with Kylie.
“If you’ll ask me right now, I will choose to marry her. You know, I’m in that stage where I’m not getting any younger and I want to think of my future already.”
Meanwhile, Jake is proud of his latest big-screen offering titled, KontrAdiksyon in which their director Niel de Mesa has only good words for him.
In his interviews, the film director said that he couldn’t think of another actor besides Jake who can effectively breathe life to the character he portrayed in the film about illegal drugs.
“That’s really flattering and is a great reward for all the efforts I exerted while doing the project. Sometimes, you do the scenes and you’re not sure if what you’re doing is still right. The only time that you are able to relax is when the director tells you that you’re on the right path. With KontrAdiksyon, I’m just grateful that I was given a chance to offer something new in the table, so to speak,” he states.

Aga Muhlach explains that in his being a sought-after brand endorser over the years, it’s important that he believes in the product he’s promoting.
“If I don’t believe and use the product myself, there’s no way I’m going to promote it. That’s my guiding principle in accepting endorsements,” he avers.
The critically-acclaimed actor adds another feather into his cap as he was recently chosen by Daikin Air-conditioning Philippines, Inc. to be its maiden brand ambassador.
“I’m really honored and proud to be part of their family. When they asked me to become their agent of influence, I didn’t think twice because my family is using the unit. In our house, we don’t trust any brand.”
Speaking of his family, Aga reveals he couldn’t recall an incident in which he scolded his children Andres and Atasha during their childhood years. The twins are turning 18 this coming November.
“ I’m really a proud dad because they are good kids. I think Charlene (Gonzales) and I brought them up well. The same with my son Iggy Boy who is now a family man himself. For this, I’m grateful to his mom Janice (de Belen) for bringing him up well, too,” he ends.
