Patricia Javier named Noble Queen of the Universe 2019

Actress and singer Patricia Javier Walcher, representing Philippines-Luzon, bested 20 other candidates to win the title Noble Queen of the Universe 2019 during the pageant’s grand coronation held Sunday night at Centennial Hall The Manila Hotel, Ermita.

The former sexy star, now 41 and a mother of two boys, competed under the platform-advocacy on health and wellness and environmental protection. 

“I would love to empower women by letting my voice be heard as I talk and share about different views in life,” said the former Mrs. Asia-California 2009 who followed another former actress, Alma Concepcion, who won Mrs. Grand Universe 2019 in September.

Javier left her showbiz career and settled down in San Diego, California after marrying husband Dr. Robert Walcher who runs a very successful practice in Chiropractic Medicine. Javier, who is Genesis Caniapan in real life, held concerts, disk-jockeying and worked as an aesthetician in a dermatology clinic to support her husband who one time represented the USA at the World of Performing Arts in Hollywood and won five gold medals in acting and modeling.

Javier is best remembered for the 1999 Peque Gallaga hit movie Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero and her record-breaking, controversial concert at the Folk Arts Theater entitled Mrs. Patricia Javier in 2003.

Other winners of Respect: Noble Queen of the Universe 2019 were Noble Queen of the Universe International Maria France Imelda Papin Carrion, representing Philippines-Bicol; Noble Queen of the Universe Globe Beau Singson Villanueva representing Australia; and Noble Queen of the Universe Tourism Anna Rabtsun Baylosis representing Russia. Ritchell Catt representing Guam and Via Kim representing Korea were named first and second runners up, respectively.

Respect: Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd, Inc. (NQULI), which aims for women to gain greater respect in the society, was founded by Erilene Noche-Tumali -MBA, Dursula Ito -PHD, Lovely Tajan – RN, Emarie Atienza, and Atty. Jiboy Cabochan. Noble Queen of the Universe coronation night will have a delayed telecast on Dec. 14,  Sunday 6:00 to 7:30 in the evening on Net25

Miss Silka Philippines 2019 winner crowned

Jaimee Nicole Manio bested 25 other candidates from around the country to bag the Miss Silka Philippines 2019 title in coronation held at Market Market, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig Friday night.

Manio, a 20-year-old student at Holy Angel University, won P150,000 cash and P100,000 for the charity of her choice for winning Best in Swimsuit. She succeeded last year’s winner Miss Silka Philippines 2018 Maraiah Queen Arceta of Cebu.

“I will promote self-love by starting it within myself. I believe you cannot promote something without practicing it. When you practice self-love, you start to give love and care for other people,” Manio said in the final question-and-answer round when asked how she will promote Silka’s campaign on ‘self-love.’

Angelica Corporal, a 21-year-old native of Bulacan, who won Best in Evening Gown and Miss Photogenic was named first runner-up. 

Ma. Izabel Lamberth, 19, of Baguio City and Krisha Andrea Pekitpekit, 16, of Cebu, finished as 2nd and 3rd runners-up, respectively. 

Rounding out the Top 10 were the candidates from Cavite, Laguna, Central Mindanao and Zambales.

Now on its 12th year, Miss Silka Philippines has been celebrating diversity amongst women by giving an avenue for different regions and culture to be represented on a national level. 

The pageant consisted of 26 candidates from the different provinces across the country who won their respective regional titles.
