American stand-up comedian, actress, and writer Atsuko Okatsuka is bringing her International Full Grown Tour to Manila. The show will take place at Samsung Hall, SM Aura, BGC on July 13.
International Full Grown Tour will also have stops in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
The Los Alengeles-based comedy star was named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” in 2022 and was the second Asian American woman to have a standup special on HBO. Her debut special, The Intruder, premiered on HBO and HBO Max on Dec.10, 2022, receiving critical acclaim. The New York Times hailed it as the Best Debut of 2022, while Vulture included it in their list of Best Comedy Specials of 2022.
At the Gracie Awards, the show won the title of Best Comedy Special, and Variety recognized Atsuko in their 2023 Comedy Impact Report.
