The agency said the rain will fall in the Visayas, Bicol, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan, Aurora, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands. due to tropical depression “Usman” starting today until Saturday.
Light to heavy rain is expected in Metro Manila from Friday to Saturday.
“Usman” was 690 kilometers east-northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, as of 5 pm on Wednesday and was moving northwest at 15 kilometers per hour. It was packing maximum winds of 55 kph and gustiness of up to 65 kph and was forecast to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Dec. 31.
