Ozamiz City Councilor Ricardo ‘Ardot’ Parojinog will soon join stellar company at the Custodial Center in Camp Crame.

This after the Philippine National Police on Friday said it would likely detain Parojinog where high-profile personalities such as Senator Leila de Lima and former Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Ozamiz Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog-Echavez, daughter of slain Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog Sr., are currently detained.

Parojinog is set to arrive from Taiwan where he was arrested.

Bulalacao said the PNP considers Parojinog as a high-profile suspect because he is included in the list of government officials allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

The Taiwanese polie arrested Ricardo, brother of Reynaldo Parojinog Sr., due was arrested on Wednesday night due to illegal entry.

Bulalacao said based on reports from intelligence operatives, a tipster informed the Taiwanese police of Parojinog’s whereabouts.

Ricardo was not in his house when the police conducted a raid in July last year that resulted to the death of his brother and 15 others.

But the police were able to seize shabu and drug paraphernalia, a shotgun, three rocket propelled-grenade launchers, two hand grenades, and M79 ammunition from the councilor’s house.

Ricardo went into hiding since then amid the lookout order issued by the Bureau of Immigration.

Earlier this month, police recovered high-powered firearms, including two anti-tank rockets, during a raid on Ricardo’s closed business properties.

When he escaped, Ricardo carrieda bounty of P5-million as ordered by President Duterte.
