Former Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon has arrived in the Senate.

He was on board a convoy of vehicles of the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA).

Faeldon came at 11:54 am on Monday.

He had brought with him a bag of clothes, thinking he might be arrested today and would not be allowed to go home.

The Senate issued an arrest warrant last Friday against Faeldon due to his failure to attend the continuation of hearings of the Blue Ribbon Committee chaired by Senator Richard Gordon.

Gordon had warned the arrest warrant shall be enforced if Faeldon would refuse to attend the hearing of his panel at 9 am on Monday.

Faeldon had said he would not testify in the investigation anymore as he doubted the impartiality of the lawmakers, particularly Senator Panfilo Lacson.

In a previous privilege speech, Lacson had tagged Faeldon as among a recipients of bribes at the BOC.
