Senator Leila De Lima is currently being brought from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center to the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court (QC-MTC).

At past 1 pm on Monday, she was on board a coaster which is part of a convoy of vehicles providing security to the senator and vehicles from different media organizations.

De Lima will be arraigned in court over the case filed by House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez and House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas.

The case is in connection with De Lima’s alleged violation of Article 150 of the Revised Penal Code pertaining to “disobedience to summons.”

The charge involves De Lima’s alleged refusal to appear before the House inquiry on the proliferation of illegal drugs at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
