LRT-1 to operate until 11 pm this month

The operating hours of Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) is being extended until 11 pm.

This is beginning Saturday (December 3) until December 23, 2016.

The adjustment adds an hour more to the LRT-1’s regular operation on weekdays and an hour and a half during weekends.

This means that LRT-1’s last trip from Baclaran beginning tonight (Saturday) will be at 11 pm.

Operators say the extended operating hours is being put in place “in keeping with the demand for late night urban transport.”
