PNP kills alleged gun-for-hire gang leader in Batangas

Intelligence agents of the PNP Batangas Provincial Office have killed the alleged leader of Bantugon crime syndicate in Bauan, Batangas.

Gunned down on Friday morning was Leonilo ‘Ka Nilo’ Bantugon, said to be the head of a group involved in gun-for-hire, gunrunning and organized criminal activities.

Police say he resisted arrest and a clash ensued as an arrest warrant was being issued to him.

Bantugon group reportedly operates in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon (CALABARZON).

Their hideouts are reportedly in Bauan and Mabini towns.
