Beating the deadline

Aspiring barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials flock Thursday to the Commission on Elections Office in Manila to beat the last day of filing of certificates of candidacy for the May 2018 elections. Interior and Local Government officer-in-charge Eduardo Año urged barangay officials dealing in drugs to do the county a favor and desist from running.
