PFU has launched a “10M Achievement” special website to commemorate the milestone of its global shipments of FUJITSU image scanners surpassing the 10-million mark.

In honor of the 10-million scanner mark, the website, which contains testimonies from different users about their reason for choosing PFU’s scanners, utilizes the slogan “Good quality has 10 million reasons.”

The website also shares various types of campaign information held throughout the world as well as the underlying history of PFU’s scanners.

A website named “Our Scanner Story” was also launched to share PFU’s stance in producing image scanners, define quality and technology and continue to provide for their customers through its products.

PFU released its first image scanner, the U4301A flatbed scanner, in 1983.

PFU has since faced customers’ needs one by one while expanding its “fi-Series” scanner lineup with the addition of ADF equipped models and high-speed image scanners.

The year 2001 opened up a new era for PFU with their release of the “ScanSnap Series” enabling “One Touch” scanning and digitization. PFU then proceeded to evolve along with modernization of the world with the release of the Wi-Fi compatible iX Series.

It has been 34 years since PFU sold its first scanner.

“We’ve developed a wide range of quality products to serve our customers’ challenges and to enhance their scanning experience,” said Regional Marketing Specialist Jasmine Yeo.

Yeo also said that the 10-million-scanners-shipped benchmark is only a checkpoint for Fujitsu scanners as they will continue to challenge themselves to go beyond the limits.
