LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—The Provincial Government of Pangasinan led by Gov. Amado I. Espino III has received a new set of book donations from Asia CEO Forum executives Rebecca Bustamante Mills and Richard Mills.
A total of 509 books donated by the Mills couple were turned over to Provincial Librarian Cynthia Encarnita F. Vila after their courtesy call on the governor at the Urduja House here.
Vila said this batch of books is composed of circulation, paperback fiction novels, reference materials for intermediate, secondary, and tertiary education, and hardbound books that will benefit students and researchers alike who frequent the provincial library.
The Millses promised to continue sponsorships through donations of books, which will help in building library collections. They are also coordinating with the provincial government to pave the way for the subsequent donation of computers to libraries and schools in the province, Vila added.
