Ryza Cenon explores world outside of GMA Artist Center

According to Ryza Cenon, it wasn’t easy for her to change management: leave GMA in favor of Viva Artist Agency.

“I think it’s understandable since I’ve been with Artist Center for the last 12 years,” she says. “I practically grew up with them. They made me who I am in the showbiz industry. The feeling is comparable to that of breaking-up with your boyfriend. Yes, it was that painful. “But I have to make such decision. I felt the need to explore. I want to try new things, something I’m hoping VVA can really give me. This early, I’m excited with this new phase in my career.”

The pretty StarStruck alumna pointed out though that there’s no bad blood between her and the Kapuso network.

“I left in good faith. As I’ve said earlier, it’s a long process. My contract with GMA ended in February 2016. I really made (a) deep introspection on this after Viva made the offer. Actually, I requested Viva that before I’d sign-up with them, I would talk to GMA first to have a graceful exit.

“It’s good that the management understood my point. I told Artist Center my desire to explore new avenues and horizons. I consider my big bosses there as second parents. And as such, they gave their permission and wished me luck. It was a very pleasant transition.”

Ryza is excited with this new phase in her showbiz career.

“This time around, I want to grow as an actress. I want to leave my comfort zone, so to speak. It would bring me fulfilment if I do something new, like movies. There’s also my dream of having endorsements. I’m hopeful that now that I’m Viva, I’d really be able to maximize all my potentials as an artist.”

Despite the new road she treks, the pretty lass reiterates that as much as possible, majority of her projects would still be with her former mother studio.

“Yes, I would like still to remain a Kapuso even if I’m no longer their contract star. Just like now, I’m being seen as the antagonist Georgia in the top-rating afternoon drama Ika-6 na Utos opposite Gabby Concepcion and Sunshine Dizon. I made that request to Viva: that as much as possible, I would like to do more GMA projects. They’re my priority. So I’m still a Kapuso, right?” ends Ryza.

Mikael Daez is supportive of his girlfriend Meagan Young’s Hollywood dream.

“That’s right! She doesn’t have to ask permission from me actually. Whatever she wants to do or wherever she wants to go, it’s okay with me. It’s no big deal!” he states.

For the Kapuso hunk, trust and support should be there all the time.

“I believe that women should do what they feel like doing regardless of what their families or boyfriends think. It’s their life in the first place. If they would consider what others think about them, how can they realize their personal goals? It’s important for any individual to feel that he or she has done everything so as not to have future regrets!”

Is he ready for a long-distance relationship if ever?

“I don’t think she’s going to stay that long in the States for this. She can’t commit a life there right now in a super long-term basis since she also has work commitments here. As of now, let’s play it by ear. Anyways, whatever the development maybe, I can always fly there to visit,” Mikael avers.
