According to Piolo Pascual, he is just waiting for the next silver screen project he and Judy Ann Santos will star in next. Their last film together was Don’t Give Up on Us in 2006.

“Yes, it’s been 11 years,” PJ reflects. “Actually, I’ve always been very vocal about it. I’m just waiting for Juday’s availability—whenever she’s free to do another movie with me.”

The handsome actor acknowledges Juday’s importance to his evolution as a premiere male lead.

“That’s right! Among all my screen partners, it’s with her whom I learned a lot in further honing my craft. First and foremost, I started off with her. As a love team, we did a lot of projects together both in the big and small screens.

“I really owe Juday a lot, considering how she levelled with me then. She made me feel comfortable on the set and unselfishly trained me. She has a big contribution during my building-up stage. That’s one thing I’ll forever be grateful to her.”

Timing is what Piolo points out as the reason why it’s been a long time already since their last movie together.

“I cannot say that it’s because of Judy Ann. It’s because of the project. You just don’t jump into doing one instantly without careful planning. You wait for the right time. As an old adage goes, there’s a perfect time for everything, right?” he avers.

Reports have it that ABS-CBN bigwig Ms. Charo Santos has an exciting concept for their reunion film.

“Yes! She told me and Juday about it. Honestly, I’m excited. Keeping my fingers crossed that it pushes through. Of course, Juday has her concerns and there’s our conflicting schedules. I think those should be ironed out first.

“Before we make a comeback vehicle, it’s imperative that Juday and I sit down first and discuss all the angles. I think she made that clear and I agree. So I’m just waiting for that to be realized. As I’ve mentioned earlier, things will happen at the right time so let’s just wait for it.

Over the years, the critically-acclaimed Kapamilya star is grateful that his friendship with Juday remains intact.

“Actually, nothing has changed between us. The two of us will always be friends. We don’t need to see or talk to each other often. What’s important is, the respect is always there. You need not cut ties just because both of you moved on to a different phase in your respective lives,” ends Piolo.

Randy Santiago admits his elation when he was tapped to be part of the grand ABS-CBN fantasy-drama “La Luna Sangre” top-billed by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

“Actually, I was very shocked when I received the call,” he says. “I asked them if they really want me since I’m more identified with comedy. Then I knew it will be with KathNiel and the project is to be directed by Ms. Cathy Garcia-Molina, I got nervous. It’s a grand presentation. But for sure, I’m simply flattered to be part of the show. Whatever I can contribute, I will give my 100%!”

In the story, he will breathe life to the character of Dok Sito, the father figure to Daniel’s character Tristan.

“That’s right! It’s a different challenge to play the part. I hope the viewers will like my portrayal.”

Speaking of Daniel, the actor-comedian-director has only good words for the popular matinee idol.

“It’s a fact that DJ is a competent actor. In this soap, he will show how versatile he is in attacking his character. But apart from that, he’s such a kind kid. I’m not surprised why he’s blessed.”

For his participation in “La Luna Sangre”, Randy had to give up his directorial task for GMA’s game show “Wowowin.”

“I asked permission from Kuya Wil (Willie Revillame) and he understood. He gave me his blessing. I left in a smooth-sailing fashion,” he states.
