Icon Hotel and the Hope for the Youth Foundation have joined hands for a benefit concert entitled Magkaisa at Icon Hotel Timog Avenue on April 29.
The concert is part of the Magkaisa Relief Operations Project to help the tribal communities within Caraga affected by massive flooding in Lapaz and Talacogon towns in Agusan del Sur.
The benefit concert will feature Aiza Seguera, Gary Granada, Naligayan Band, Tres Marias, Gift Cerna, DUMAKI Artists, Gion Gounet, Bae Miriam Sanchez, Wasalak Band and Salvation.
Tickets from P500 to P1,500 are available at the gate with all proceeds for the Manobos.
“The help may not be sufficient enough but somehow would become a morale booster for the victims so that they will know that there are people out there who still and will always care for them”, said Bae Jennifer Sibug Las, corporate social responsibility manager.
Meanwhile, a Unity Ride Relief Operation and Donation Cans in Icon Hotel will be launched as part of the Relief Operations Project with major sponsors House of Representatives, Pioneer Industries, and Hotel Sogo. Current partners are Warriors of Nature, Gawad Sulo Foundation, Inc., Road Raiders Philippines, Incorporated and Santolan Riders Brotherhood Club MCPF.
