Valerio’s paper explored how Facebook can be used to supplement face-to-face courses as a means of enhancing students’ sense of society and, thus, promote classroom communities of practice.

Four other SHRIM faculty, namely, Marie Castro, Tiffany Santuyo, Chef Kim Castillo, and Chef Jester Arellano, shared their researches at the conference, which was featured in Vatel’s research journal, Les Cahiers International de Tourisme (International Tourism Journal), published by its Centre International de Recherche Vatel en Tourisme et Hôtellerie (Cirvath).
