Moms in the fast lane

A latest study by leading online selling platform Lazada reveals moms are overtaking men in shopping in the Motors category.

Lazada Market Intelligence discovered that over 30 percent of its female shoppers are moms, with more than 60 percent of them purchasing from the site’s Motors category.

A study reveals moms love to shop motoring accessories online. 
Data observing moms aged 26 to 39 years old also show that they prefer shopping late at night. Moms were recorded to be browsing, adding to cart as early as 11:00 p.m., and finally doing checkouts between 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Majority or 60 percent of those who ordered used vouchers from their favorite LazMall / seller stores.

Moms’ purchases from the motors category include car scratch removers, protection gears, car stereos, and motorcycle covers. Aside from protection gears and other motoring accessories, some of these moms have also purchased a motorcycle and a car on Lazada for the past month as the online platform opened pre-orders for some of its motorcycle and automotive brands.

Lazada moms are also tech geeks with more than 50 percent them buying their mobile devices and other tech accessories such as power banks, headphones, and tablets online.
