This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

CHEDDAR is one of the cats that Janelle Manalang rescued in February last year. Janelle decided to keep Cheddar.
He had just been born when she found him on the busy Quirino avenue. Seeing the poor kitten, Janelle immediately got him and took care of him.
“Having Cheddar for a year, I saw him grow healthy and become so beautiful. The thing I love about this crazy fellah is when he howls like a wolf! “ Janelle says.
Janelle adds: “Cheddar is very playful, sweet and gentle.”
“I love Cheddar equally with all my cats with breed because for me, breed does not matter if you are truly a pet lover, “ says Janelle.
CHESKA was so tiny and about 2-3 days old when Harold Calapis saw her on the street.
“Being a cat lover, I just couldn't leave her there and just die. I brought her home to foster. My mama cat who fed her milk,” Harold recalls.
“As Cheska grew, I saw how beautiful and healthy she became with proper care, “ he adds.
Harodl adds: “She is very shy compared to all the cats I have. She never plays with other cats but has a favorite playmate, foster mama cat named Miming. She enjoys playing around with her.”
“Cheska is very quiet and very feminine. She has beautiful big round eyes which I really love about her. She is very sweet, kind and easy to cuddle with, “Harold says.
