Elephant Express serves an array of mouth-watering Asian dishes at very affordable prices. Must-try are the popular Thai noodle dish pad thai and the refreshing crispy catfish salad.
Aside from Thai dishes, it also serves other authentic Asian cuisines like Singaporean laksa, Vietnamese spring rolls, Malaysian roti pancakes, Indonesian fried rice, crab Rangoon, and other dishes.
Occasionally, new twists are added to the regular menu and new products are featured monthly to give customers more options.
Inspired by a chain of restaurants in the US called Panda Express that serves mostly Chinese cuisine, owner Rosemarie Rafael named it “Elephant Express” because elephants are an icon in Thailand and because they serve fast food.
“I personally eat here, mainly because I enjoy the food that we serve, but also to check if we still maintain the quality of our food,” shares Ut.

Previously “Kafe Yen” and “Asian Noodles Express,” Elephant Express has a wide variety of clients—including students, senior citizens, vegetarians, and professionals—dining in its two outlets at Food Choices Alabang Town Center and at Food Court Robinsons Place Las Piñas.
Ut reveals there are plans for expansion soon.
