Mr. Ha and Ms. Zhen, whose respective travel blogs have close to a million followers combined, were dubbed as “China’s favorite online travel couple.” Voted as the lucky winners in Cathay Dragon’s “Marriage in the Air” social media contest, they earned the once in a lifetime chance to say their “I do’s” aboard a Cathay Dragon flight bound for Hong Kong.
The couple met through a shared love for travel and what better way for them to exchange vows than by doing what they love and celebrating it with friends and relatives. “Travel will continue to be an important part of our lives. To have an inflight wedding specially tailored to our needs, with our families onboard for this occasion, is not only meaningful; it is something we will never forget. Once the flight reached cruise altitude, the couple finally exchanged rings and said their “I do’s” while their guests toasted the moment with champagne. So, upon arrival in Hong Kong, the celebration continued with an intimate private party at Cathay Pacific’s highly acclaimed Business Class lounge, the Pier. Mr. Ha and Ms. Zhen also spent the weekend sightseeing in Hong Kong and shared their experiences travelling for the first time as a married couple with all their fans online.
