Love bridges beyond billboards

Toothpaste brand Close Up recently went viral for its Pride Month campaign featuring two billboards situated in separate areas along C5 Kalayaan Avenue with the theme “Close the Gap.”

The campaign used an optical illusion to create a sense of separation between two individuals but as passersby continue to get closer, it reunites the two billboards, closing the gap between the two giant tarps.

But just in case you missed it, the models starring in this Pride Month campaign are a real-life couple namely Denver Jamon and Danrev Dimaculangan.

On their respective Instagram accounts Danrev and Denver had their fair share of the importance of the Pride Month ad campaign of the toothpaste brand with Danrev expressing his excitement for their first billboard together and calling for people to become more accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community.

“Our first billboard together. I am so happy and excited about this amazing project. I hope people can look on a different perspective to be able to close the gap on acceptance for the LGBTQIA+ community and their freedom to love. Happy pride everyone!” shared Danrev.

Meanwhile, Denver emphasized his hope for the community to have the freedom to love and be loved—no matter your gender, preference, race, or color.

The couple has been together for four years

“This billboard is for #pridemonth and is symbolizing that we need to have a new perspective to be able to close the gap on acceptance for #LGBTQIA+ community and our freedom to love and to be loved!” said Denver.

When it comes to their common interests, based on the photos they shared on their accounts, aside from showing the world their love for each other, both Denver and Danrev seemed to love traveling and spending some of their time doing workouts.

Going on their fourth year of being together, the two had gone to places like Italy, Turkey, Greece, and Alaska.
