UNAHCO backs Agrilink trade confab

UNAHCO Inc. (Univet Nutrition and Animal Healthcare Co.), the leading manufacturer and distributor of the country’s most popular and fast-selling animal nutrition and healthcare products, will be one of the major sponsors of the 2019 Agrilink, Foodlink, and Aqualink Trade Exhibit on Oct. 3 to 5 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

For 20 consecutive years now, UNAHCO,  the firm behind the brands Pigrolac, Early Wean, Mamapro, Sarimanok, Vetracin, Jectran, Latigo, Bexan, Bacterid, and Apralyte, has been actively supporting the Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development Inc. in mounting the annual Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink event.

UNAHCO president and COO Ricardo C. Alba believes in FRLD’s mission to gather under one roof all agri, food and aqua stakeholders to establish linkages and facilitate information and technology transfer to expedite the growth of the agriculture and  animal industries.

“This is UNAHCO’s humble way of helping uplift the agri and animal industries and in supporting government’s drive to achieve food safety and security for all Filipinos,” Alba said.

Turning 53 years old this Oct. 16, UNAHCO has remained committed to help animal raisers as well as agri farmers by providing them with quality feed, veterinary and agricultural products that will help them improve their farm efficiency, increase productivity, profitability and sustainability.

Agrilink is a highly  effective venue to touch base with crop farmers, animal raisers, farm owners, dealers,  veterinarians and government technicians. 

Through its participation in Agrilink, UNAHCO, through its business units Pigrolac, Univet and Sarimanok, is able to meet with existing and potential customers and discuss with them its new products and product innovations which are adapted from the latest global trends and technology in farming and animal raising.

For this year’s Agrilink, UNAHCO will feature Early Wean, Sarimanok Feeds, Univet’s“Galing Univet, Galing Univet” products namely Latigo, Miroban GT and Vetracin Gold with probiotics.

UNAHCO products bear the seal of quality and have passed ISO and Halal Certification. Pigrolac, Univet and Sarimanok products have earned the trust and loyal patronage of animal raisers and dealers.

Univet top brands such as Vetracin, Jectran, Bexan, Latigo have been in the market for more than 50 years now and have become an integral part of the farm regimen of every successful animal raiser.

Pigrolac/Univet will hold two seminars during Agrilink,  the first is on Biosecurity Measures for the Control of Pathogens and the second is on “Pig Nutrition and Management to Promote Immunity” on Thursday, October 3, 1 to 3pm at the Luna Room.

Sarimanok Feeds will also hold a seminar on Saturday, October 5 from 10:30am –12:30pm at the Amorsolo Room.  Seminar topic will be “Hitik na Hitik Golden Egg Business Opportunities sa Pag-Iitik” with Dr. Rene C. Santiago and Sarimanok Itik Raisers as resource speakers.
