DENR office in Bataan sets health, wellness program for workers

Balang City, Bataan—The Department of Environment and Natural Resources Bataan office is promoting the wellness and fitness of its employees.

“We need healthy and fit employees to be able to efficiently serve the public,” pointed out Provincial Environment Officer Raul Mamac during their physical fitness activities at the Bataan People’s Center on Friday.

“We conducted zumba and basketball exhibition game between DENR Bataan and DENR Central,” he added.

“DENR Usec. Ernesto Adobo ordered DENR Central personnel to join us in our activities here in Bataan,” Mamac said.

There is a CSC [Civil Service Commission] memorandum ordering the promotion of wellness and fitness of government employees, he said. 

“We will regularly conduct physical fitness activities at DENR Bataan,” Mamac added.

The staging of DENR Bataan wellness activities on Friday was also in celebration of Philippine Environment Month 2018 with theme “Beat Plastic Pollution."
