Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista unveils the special marker installed at the Philippine-Israel Friendship Park dedicated to the late President Manuel Quezon in honor of his effort to save the lives of over 1,000 Jewish refugees during World War II, and also to commemorate the Philippines’ vote in favor of the creation of the state of Israel.
