2018 MMFF HOST

The City of Parañaque was unanimously selected as host of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival during the recent executive committee meeting of film makers and officials of the Metro Manila Development Authority. The 2018 MMFF is the 44th edition of the annual Metro Manila Film Festival held in Metro Manila and throughout the Philippines organized by the MMDA. Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the festival will begin with the traditional Parade of Stars and float in the city in December this year. Present during the MOA signing were MMDA Chairman Danny Lim; Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte; Boots Anson-Roa, chairman Actors Guild of the Philippines; and Janet Olivarez, wife of the mayor and president of the Metro Manila Mayors’ Spouses Foundation Inc.
