Funeral march

Indigenous peoples joined by supporters march Thursday from the University of Santo Tomas in España to Mendiola Bridge (Chino Roces) near Malacañang, holding high a painted mural depicting 19-year-old Obello Bay-ao, a lumad killed allegedly by paramilitary forces under the Citizens Armed Force Geographical Unit last Sept. 5. The protesters, who included his former schoolmates, carried a mock coffin.
