Harvest time

Dr. Isa Suntay Cojuangco, the co-founder of the Tarlac Heritage Foundation (second from left) harvests different vegetables from the ‘Hardin ng Lunas’ at Camp O’Donnell in Capas, Tarlac with (from left) Maj. Gen. Edgar Gonzales, Commander of the Philippine Army’s Mechanized Division, former Armed Forces Chief of Staff retired Gen. Efren Abu, and Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana. The garden benefits the soldiers at the camp and their dependents, while people from the surrounding communities can buy vegetables there at farm gate prices.
