The LGU Guarantee Corp. is inviting bids for the supply and installation of solar home systems for six electric cooperatives in Mindanao after receiving funds from the European Union.

The LGUGC said it received financing from the European Union administered by the World Bank toward the cost of the Access to Sustainable Energy Project Philippines.  It said it would use part of the proceeds for the SHS.

“These SHS are to be installed in accordance with the program milestones,” LGUGC said.

The six electric cooperatives are Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative Inc. (2,500 SHS), Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. (5,000), Davao del Sur Electric Cooperative Inc. (7,500), First Bukidnon Electric Cooperative Inc. (2,100), South Cotabato II Electric Cooperative Inc. (7,500) and Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative Inc. (5,900).

The pre-bid conference will be held on Sept. 28, while the submission of bids will be on Oct. 26.
