D&L Industries Inc. was named as the Most Honored Company in Asia by New York-based Institutional Investor in its 2017 All-Asia Executive Team survey.
D&L said in a disclosure to the stock exchange the company was ranked among the top in a list of over 2,500 Asian companies nominated for outstanding corporate leadership and investor relations.
D&L president and chief executive Alvin Lao was also recognized as the Best CEO in the Philippines.
The company’s investor relations program ranked number 3 in the country.
These awards earned D&L the Most Honored Company recognition, which was given to 88 companies across Asia in 2017, including two other Philippine companies – Universal Robina and Metro Pacific Investments.
“This is a wonderful achievement for the entire team. This which would not have been possible without the support of D&L’s management. We have the utmost respect for our minority shareholders and will continue our efforts to maintain an IR program that is engaging, informative and transparent,” Lao said.
