The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) officially launched its “Libreng Sakay” program with the blessing of two newly acquired buses on May 4, 2026, reinforcing its commitment to providing free transportation services to commuters and promoting safe, accessible, and inclusive mobility for all, especially amid ongoing global challenges.

The blessing ceremony at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City was led by Rev. Fr. Jeff Agustin of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and attended by PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles, Chairman Felix Reyes, the Board of Directors, including Jennifer Liongson-Guevara and Janet De Leon-Mercado, and other agency personnel.

The public is encouraged to stay tuned to the official pages of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for further updates on this initiative, including details on the designated bus routes.

The “Libreng Sakay” initiative forms part of PCSO’s strengthened advocacy to deliver immediate assistance to the public and improve the quality of life of Filipinos through compassionate and responsive programs, particularly in times that call for collective action and support.
