Two-time Southeast Asian (SEA) Games gold medalist and former national triathlon team captain Nikko Huelgas is now engaged to Filipino diplomat, Vice Consul Jackielou Gan. The couple met during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Huelgas currently serves as a motivational speaker and marketing head of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC). He was among the Philippine delegation sent to the prestigious quadrennial tournament held in Paris, France.

Huelgas is the first Filipino to win a gold medal in the men’s individual triathlon event at the SEA Games in 2015. He successfully defended his title two years later, making him the first Filipino triathlete to win the biennial regional competition twice.
