Loida Nicolas Lewis Releases New Book on Aging Gracefully
Filipino-American Philanthropist and Author of “Why Should Guys Have All the Fun?” now in her 80’s, shares her wealth of wisdom on how to look and feel younger at any age.
December 1, 2025 (Manila, Philippines) – Loida Nicolas Lewis, renowned Filipino American businesswoman, lawyer, author and philanthropist, releases her newest book, “Look Younger When You’re Older – No Botox, No Surgery (Philippine Edition)” with Anvil Publishing. It will be available for purchase on National Book Stores (NBS) nationwide starting December 1st.
On December 18th, at 8 o’clock p.m. there will be an online book launch with the author that will be livestreamed via Anvil’s and Loida Nicolas Lewis’ Facebook pages. The online event will be hosted by Anvil Publishing’s President, Ms. Alexandra Ramos-Padilla.
In January 2026, Mrs. Lewis will be in Manila to promote her book with an in-person at National Book Store (date, time and location TBD). Special discounts and goodies await those who will join the Book Signing – registration is free, but requested at bit.ly/lookyoungermanila
Loida Nicolas Lewis came up with the idea for her newest book while she was on her promotional tour for her memoir, “Why Should Guys Have All the Fun? An Asian American Story of Love, Marriage, Motherhood and Running a Billion Dollar Empire.” (Wiley, 2023).
Mrs. Lewis, who had previously toured the book all over North America, Europe and the Philippines said, “While I was promoting my book, I was met with shock and awe every time I revealed that I am 80. I have been so frequently asked about what it is that I do differently that makes me look the way I do and have the energy that I have at my age. I would answer briefly, (as much as a typical Q&A would allow), but there was so much more that I could think of sharing.”
The realization that people yearned to hear about her “secrets” and “tips” to looking and feeling young inspired her to document her own self-care rituals, habits and daily practices that keep her healthy physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually-–an effort that culminated into the making of her third book, “Look Younger When You’re Older – No Botox, No Surgery.” It is subtitled as such as the author herself had gone on record for never having undergone surgery, fillers, botox and other cosmetic procedures on her face or body.

Dedicating the book to her five grandchildren, as well as all her grandnieces and grandnephews, she hopes that by sharing her wealth of wisdom earned through the years that readers–particularly from early adolescence to pre-senior age groups–can learn and apply a couple of things, if not the whole book to their own practices and daily routines. “This book is for those who are seeking ways to truly give the kind of care to themselves that make for long, healthy and joyful lives,” she continued.
Award-winning Broadcast Journalist and UN Ambassador for Women, Ms. Karen Davila says, “When you meet Loida Nicolas Lewis, one of the first things you’ll notice—aside from her grace and commanding presence—is how vibrant and youthful she looks. At an age when many quietly retreat from the spotlight, Loida shines brighter than ever. Her energy, clarity of mind, and natural glow are truly remarkable.”
She continues, “In this book, “Look Younger When You’re Older – No Botox, No Surgery” Loida generously shares her personal approach to aging—not with needles or scalpels, but with intention, discipline, and self-love. What she offers is not just a guide to looking younger, but a philosophy of life rooted in wellness, positivity, and purpose.”
Another TV Personality and the Philippines’ ‘King of Talk’, Dr. Boy Abunda commends Mrs. Lewis: “Bravo Loida! SALAMAT for all that you are and all that you do to make this world a better place, and for sharing how to Look Younger When You’re Older! Thank you, coming from you who look FAB and beautiful, inside and out!”
Mrs. Lewis encourages readers to give the book as gifts to their loved ones this holiday season. “I hope readers take away a new and optimistic perspective on aging as they read my book, especially as we enter another year. ‘New year, new you’ as they say. I believe it’s never too late to develop good habits,” says Mrs. Lewis.
“Look Younger When You’re Older – No Botox, No Surgery” (Anvil Publishing) is available nationwide starting December 1st on all National Book Store branches. It is also widely available for purchase in Shopee and Lazada.
