When it comes to eSports gaming, Infinix has established itself as one of the top gaming phone brands. It’s now ready to make a mark again with the all-new Infinix GT 30 Pro.
On paper, the Infinix GT 30 Pro promises impressive speeds and refresh rates with its All-Day 120FPS System, and powerful performance courtesy of its Mediatek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate 5.5G processor. With all this running behind the case and more, the GT 30 Pro is dubbed as the official MPL Philippines tournament phone for this year’s matches. Professional MLBB team Aurora Gaming also vouched for the phone’s performance.
But what truly makes it an eSports-level gaming phone? We tested it out.
Speed and performance
Upon booting up the Infinix GT 30 Pro, it’s already evident that apps run smoothly. There’s no lag in the frame rate even if one is just swiping through the screen or browsing social media.
The real test is playing mobile games on it. The Infinix GT 30 Pro is said to be optimized for MOBAs like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Honor of Kings (HOK) and FPS games like Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) and PUBG Mobile. These titles are known to be graphics-heavy, especially with all the action happening at once.
After queueing up and playing a couple of MLBB and CODM matches, the Infinix GT 30 Pro proved that it can keep up with the games’ demands. The All-day 120FPS System was the star feature, which delivered zero frame drops and zero lags even when it felt like there were 10 skill shots and explosions happening during matches. Likewise, the 144Hz AMOLED screen made it easy to spot enemies clearly. We can also see how pro-players or those training to be one can benefit from a good screen, as it can help with response time during the most intense matches.
Additionally, the Gaming Kit that comes with the phone makes sure it runs without a hitch, especially during games. The kit comes with a MagCharge Cooler, which is a magnetic wireless charging fan, and a MagCase, a thermally optimized structural case. Both work hand in hand in fast-charging the phone while also keeping it cool.

Accessibility
Compared to the previous version, the GT 20 Pro, the Infinix GT 30 Pro stands out because it has GT Trigger, a pair of capacitive shoulder buttons. These can be used for different functions, both in-game and other smartphone tasks. Mapping out controls, like going back to base or using certain abilities, is easy and it only takes light taps to get the buttons working.
The GT Trigger’s bold and intuitive design brings console-level control to the GT 30 Pro, which casual players and eSports athletes can maximize. And outside of gaming, the feature can be used for snapping photos, taking screenshots, and so much more.
Overall, the Infinix GT 30 Pro manages to deliver on its promise of top-notch performance and speeds that are ideal for gaming. Whether one is casually climbing up the ranks at home or playing professionally in the big leagues, we can see how the device can encourage gamers to get their Win Streak Mode on. Even non-gamers can feel like winning with the GT 30 Pro.
