From the vibrant, creative streets of Manila to the towering skyscrapers of New York, Bea Hufana is carving a global path in the advertising industry.
Bea, a Brooklyn-based Filipina, has built a remarkable career blending creativity, strategy, and heart. After earning her stripes at top Philippine agencies like Leo Burnett, Dentsu, and GIGIL, she moved to New York to pursue a Master’s in Integrated Marketing at New York University (NYU). Today, she thrives at Pixel, a New York agency, managing the Canon account across major campaigns.
“I see advertising not just as selling,” Bea shares, “but as a way to build emotional connections between brands and people.” This philosophy has been the backbone of her impressive career.

Before moving to the US, Bea made her mark working with some of the world’s most iconic brands. At GIGIL, she spearheaded Netflix’s Money Heist: Korea launch in the Philippines, pulling off a daring experiential stunt where an armoured van appeared to crash at major malls — a spectacle that generated online and offline buzz. Her work at Dentsu also contributed to Coca-Cola’s Gawin Mong Moment web series, which celebrated family bonds during the height of the pandemic. Meanwhile, at Leo Burnett, she helped keep McDonald’s playful and connected with Filipino audiences on digital platforms.
At Pixel, Bea led the development of Canon’s MegaTank awareness campaign, amassing over 21 million views and exceeding reach projections. Through smart post-production and media strategies for Canon’s IVY full-funnel campaign, she also drove a 46% improvement in click-through rates and an 8% reduction in costs per click.
Beyond the numbers, Bea champions something more profound: the global recognition of Filipino creativity. “Filipinos bring heart, resilience, and innovation,” she says, proudly representing her roots in every campaign she touches.
Looking ahead, Bea dreams of building programs that connect young Filipino creatives with international opportunities. “I want to help open more doors,” she says, “because talent knows no borders — and it’s time the world sees what we can do.”
As she continues to grow her career across cultures and industries, Bea Hufana is an inspiring figure — proof that a Filipina from Manila can make it big on the world stage with creativity, passion, and persistence.
