Some of the country’s top music acts are coming together to support one of their own.

A benefit concert called Daddy Aid will be held on May 25 at the Marikina Sports Center for Allan Mitchell “Daddy A” Silonga, a longtime musician who is now battling kidney failure and heart problems.

Silonga is a member of the groups Daddy’s Home and K24/7. He’s also the father of singer Blaster Silonga and the man who started the popular band IV of Spades, which Blaster was part of.

To raise funds for his medical needs, over 20 OPM acts will perform in the concert. Among them are Ben&Ben, Gloc-9, Dilaw, Gracenote, Moira dela Torre, Moonstar88, Imago, Sandwich, 6cyclemind, and Tanya Markova.

Also joining the lineup are Lola Amour, One Click Straight, Over October, Jikamarie, Halina, Kiyo, Morobeats, Legit Misfitz, Lily, Shanni, and Sugarcane.

“In a world where headlines are often about rivalries and solo wins, Daddy Aid is a rare and powerful reminder of what happens when an entire industry unites — not for fame, but for family,” organizers said in a statement.

Aside from being a performer, Daddy A is known for helping and guiding many young artists in the OPM scene. Now, the same community is showing up for him.

“Every ticket sold brings Daddy A closer to healing—and proves that when music speaks, it speaks louder together. This time, the scene isn’t just making noise. It’s making a difference,” the statement added.

More details about tickets will be announced soon.
