Thousands of adventurers flocked to SMX Convention center for the opening of the 32nd TravelTour Expo, dubbed as the biggest and best travel expo in the Philippines.
Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), the expo has been the avenue for Filipino wanderers looking to book unbeatable travel deals for the past three decades.
This year, over 300 exhibitors — including airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, accredited tour agencies, and many more — are in attendance at the event.
PTAA President Mariegel Tankiang-Manotok highlights the advantages of booking adventures with accredited companies in the expo. “You are not just clicking through websites, but talking face-to-face with experts. You’re getting insider tips, exclusive deals, and personalized recommendations that no algorithm can match,” she said.
Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco graced the expo’s opening ceremony and commended the PTAA. “The success of this travel and tour expo reflects our shared commitment to making travel transformative, sustainable, and inclusive for all. To the PTAA, thank you for the work that you do. We look forward to more success for the Philippine tourism and more revenues for our tourism stakeholders.”

More than 100,000 visitors are expected to join the 3-day expo, which will be open until February 9, 2025.
