Global Ferronickel Holdings, Inc. (FNI), a leading mining conglomerate, proudly announces the remarkable achievements of its Legal and Regulatory Affairs Group in recent prestigious industry award ceremonies.
The In-House Community (IHC) recognized FNI’s legal team for its outstanding contributions at the online awards ceremony held in Hong Kong on December 11, 2024. The group was awarded the In-House Legal Team of the Year 2024 Best Practice Management Award (Corporate Social Responsibility) besting other notable shortlisted nominees such as Alexforbes, Bank of Ayudhya, M_Service (MoMo eWallet), and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. FNI was also shortlisted in the In-House Legal Team of the Year 2024 in Energy and Natural Resources categor, competing with distinguished international companies, including Petronas Malaysia, Sembcorp Industries, and State Grid Overseas Investment.
The IHC represents over 16,000 in-house legal professionals across the Asia and Middle East regions, and the 2024 awards featured a record 206 submissions, showcasing exceptional legal teams across 14 jurisdictions.
Earlier, FNI’s legal team was also feted at the Asian Legal Business (ALB)–Philippine Law Awards 2024, hosted by Thomson Reuters at the Makati Shangri-La on November 14, 2024. It won In-House Team of the Year 2024 (Construction and Real Estate) and FNI Chief Legal Counsel Noel B. Lazaro was among the Top 5 Philippine In-House Lawyer of the Year 2024. FNI was also a finalist in the Philippine In-House Team of the Year 2024 and In-House Team of the Year 2024 (Innovation) categories.
