CEBU CITY—An international floating book fair hosted by M/V Doulos Hope is coming to Cebu in partnership with Cebu City Hall. It will be open to the public at Cebu Pier 5 from October 15 to November 10, 2024 to share knowledge, help and hope.
The floating book fair opens on Tuesdays through Sunday at 1:00-8:30 PM but it will be closed on Mondays. A selection of over 2,000 different book titles at affordable prices await visitors to Doulos Hope.
It covers a wide range of subjects including science, medicine, arts, languages, faith, hobbies, cooking, and sports. With children’s titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases, and more, a visit to the book fair is something the whole family can enjoy.
Children are welcome to visit as long as they are accompanied by adults. Tickets are required before entry. Children under 12 and senior citizens still need to book their tickets despite their free admission. Entrance fees are priced at P50 and will be collected at the book fair.
