GMA News magazine program “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” (KMJS) issued a public apology after its official X account was accused of retweeting a post perceived to promote hate against “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemates AZ Martinez and River Joseph, collectively known as AzVer.
On, Monday, June 30, “KMJS” released an official statement acknowledging the issue and addressing the uproar.
“Around 1:40 AM on June 29, we were made aware of a retweet from our program account that appeared to endorse the eviction of one of the Big Four duos from ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’,” the statement read.

“We understand the frustration this has caused and are currently investigating those who had access to the account at the time,” it added.
The show also emphasized that the retweet was not intentional and apologized to those offended by the incident.
“There was no intention to show bias or favoritism. We’re taking this matter seriously and are reviewing our internal processes to ensure it doesn’t happen again,” the statement continued.
As of writing, KMJS has not disclosed who was responsible for the post or whether disciplinary action will follow.
