The HBO Max and Viu streaming bundle has been launched in five Southeast Asian markets, offering subscribers access to Hollywood and Asian entertainment under a single discounted package.
The bundle is available in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, marking the first such partnership of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region.
Under the offer, subscribers receive the HBO Max Standard plan alongside the Viu Premium plan. Access to each service remains separate, with users logging in individually to HBO Max and Viu after activation. Subscriptions can be purchased directly through the platforms’ official websites.

HBO Max brings content from Warner Bros. Discovery brands, including HBO, DC, Harry Potter and the Game of Thrones franchise. Titles available on the platform include Emmy-winning series The Last of Us, upcoming HBO Original IT: Welcome to Derry, Max Original Peacemaker, long-running shows such as Friends and The Big Bang Theory, the full Harry Potter film collection, and Hollywood releases including The Conjuring: Last Rites and Superman.
Viu’s offering focuses on Asian entertainment, featuring Viu Original Korean dramas such as Taxi Driver 3 and Undercover High School, as well as Korean variety programs including Running Man (2025), GBRB: Joy Pops Laugh Pops (2025), and Exchange 4. The platform also includes drama series such as Moon River and Love.exe, along with other regional titles.
HBO Max is Warner Bros. Discovery’s global streaming service, hosting scripted series, films, documentaries, and animation from its major entertainment brands. Viu is a pan-regional over-the-top streaming platform operating across Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa, offering both ad-supported and premium subscription options.
