Emmanuelle “Emman” Atienza, the 19-year-old daughter of television host Kim Atienza and wife Felicia, has passed away.
On Friday, Oct. 24, in a joint Instagram post announced ths sad news.
“It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman,” the post read.
They described Emman as a young woman who “brought so much joy, laughter, and love” into the lives of those around her and who made “people feel seen and heard.”
The family also noted her openness in discussing her mental health journey, saying her authenticity helped many “feel less alone.”
“Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” it added.
They requested the public to remember Emman by carrying forward “the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life.”
Emman was a Sparkle GMA Artist Center talent and known for advocoting mental health.
Details of her wake have yet to be announced.
