Veteran action star Jeric Raval has dropped a bombshell, confirming that his daughter, actress AJ Raval, and actor Aljur Abrenica are already parents to two children despite the couple’s repeated denials.
The 59-year-old actor made the revelation during a press interview at the victory party of “Mamay: A Journey to Greatness” in Quezon City on Aug. 23, where he also celebrated his Best Supporting Actor win at the 73rd FAMAS Awards.
According to Jeric, AJ and Aljur are raising a boy and a girl. He even has a special nickname for his grandson.
“Babae at lalaki, dalawa na. Tawag ko (sa lalaking apo), Al Junior,” he said smiling.
The revelation directly contradicts AJ and Aljur’s public statements in August 2024 when both insisted they were not parents. At the time, AJ told journalist Julius Babao that she would be “the happiest person” if she were pregnant, while Aljur dismissed viral photos that showed the pair with a young child.
Abrenica, 34, already shares two sons with his ex-wife, actress Kylie Padilla. The former couple announced their split in July 2021, and rumors have it that AJ was a third party. Kylie later defended AJ, clarifying in 2023 that she was never a mistress and asking the public to stop bashing her.
