Toni Gonzaga has brushed aside online speculation dragging her marriage into a circulating blind item about a troubled celebrity couple.
The issue came up during Gonzaga’s recent live-selling session, where viewers began asking if she and husband Paul Soriano were connected to a widely shared rumor alleging infidelity within a so-called “power couple.”
The blind item gained traction after Marian Rivera publicly denied being involved, prompting netizens to speculate about other celebrity marriages.
Toni addressed the comments directly and did not mince words.
“Don’t waste time sa mga nonsense, okay? It’s a waste,” she said on the livestream.
She followed it up with a pointed analogy, adding, “Ang mga waste dapat pina-flush sa CR, okay? Katulad nito, umiinom ako ng antioxidant, so lahat ng waste in my body, ipa-flush natin ‘yan sa CR.”
As questions continued to appear in the comment section, Gonzaga stood her ground.
“Just like ‘yung ibang katanungan ng mga tao rito na wala namang silbi. [At wala namang] pupuntahan ang mga ganyang questions,” she said.
Gonzaga and Soriano marked their 10th wedding anniversary last year. Neither has indicated any issues in their relationship.
