Boutique house and lot developer Livingsprings Communities Realty and Development Corp. (LCRDC) expects three major themes to define the Philippine housing market in 2026 as buyers prioritize sustainability, more open spaces and wellness-centered environment.
The boutique developer said homebuyers are now placing greater emphasis on long-term value, quality of life, and environmentally responsive design.
It said sustainability is no longer viewed as a premium feature but an essential expectation among Filipino homebuyers. In 2026, LCRDC expects homebuyers to prioritize residences that reduce energy consumption, maximize natural ventilation, utilize responsibly sourced materials, and support healthier everyday living.
It also expects more residential developments are likely to follow this approach as sustainability becomes embedded in standard housing design.
The developer also sees sustained demand for homes outside Metro Manila as buyers seek cooler climates, quieter surroundings, and more spacious living environments. Provinces such as Cavite continue to benefit from this shift, emerging as preferred locations for both primary and secondary homes.
Likewise wellness-oriented environments are also emerging as a defining feature of housing demand as buyers increasingly value developments that promote outdoor activity, relaxation, and a closer connection to nature.

Given these trends, LCRDC said said it has adapted these themes in its flagship residential project, Cypress Place Woodland Community in Silang, Cavite.
Cypress Place, LCRDC said, integrates wellness into its master plan through tree-lined walkways, interconnected open spaces, and multiple pocket parks. Amenities include a basketball and pickleball court, a cabin-inspired playground, and meditation pods designed to support everyday wellness.
Units feature thermally insulated walls that help keep interiors naturally cool, strategic daylight design to reduce electricity use, and locally and sustainably sourced materials that minimize environmental impact. Each property also includes a dedicated gardening space, encouraging residents to embrace greener habits at home.
“Buyers today want homes that let them breathe—more light, more green, more room to grow. Cypress Place is our response to these evolving needs. It brings together sustainability, climate-friendly design, and meaningful outdoor spaces that celebrate Cavite’s natural beauty,” Architect Monique C. Albert-Lopez, co-founder of LCRDC said.
