With Territory Hybrid, Mustang Mach-E Unveiling

The launch of the New Ford Territory Hybrid marked the Philippines as the first in Ford’s International Markets Group (IMG) to offer the vehicle. The new hybrid SUV builds on the success of the popular Territory model by integrating a more fuel-efficient powertrain, a modern design, and smarter technologies.

The Territory Hybrid is available in two variants: The Trend (starting at P1,399,000) variant offers the core hybrid system and features for daily use, while the Titanium X (P1,599,000) elevates the experience with larger alloy wheels, a panoramic moonroof, coast-to-coast LED lighting, and a full suite of advanced driver-assist technologies. “The Territory has been an important product for us since we launched it in 2020,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines. “Bringing in the newest hybrid variant is an important step for us as the market demand for electrified vehicles continues to grow.”

The vehicle’s powertrain consists of a 1.5-liter I-4 Dedicated Hybrid Engine, a 2-Speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, and a 1.83kW Lithium-Ion battery. This self-charging system recovers battery power through regenerative braking and the internal combustion engine, eliminating the need for external charging. The combined system delivers a maximum engine power of 150 PS and a maximum engine torque of 230 Nm, with an electric assist that boosts responsiveness and achieves a 0-100 kph time of 8.5 seconds.

Design-wise, the new Territory Hybrid features a refreshed exterior with a redesigned front grille, LED headlights with an intelligent high beam system, and a full-width LED taillight bar. The Titanium X variant is further distinguished by its 19-inch wheels and a futuristic coast-to-coast LED position lamp. The interior has also been updated with new materials, dual-tone leather seats with zest stitching, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a matching 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.

Ford Mustang Mach-E

Offered in the Premium All-Wheel Drive Extended Range variant, the All-New Ford Mustang Mach-E combines the iconic Mustang’s spirit of performance and individuality with zero-emission technology. Priced at P3,499,000, the Mustang Mach-E is equipped with a dual permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering 290 kW (394 PS) and 676 Nm of torque, which powers all four wheels. The vehicle is powered by an 88-kWh extended-range lithium-ion battery, providing a fully charged range of up to 550 kilometers (WLTP).

“The Mustang Mach-E is one of the most exciting vehicles Ford has ever introduced,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines. “This purpose-built all-electric vehicle is unique, unmistakably a Mustang, and with a leading-edge driving range coming at exactly the right time for the growing Mustang enthusiast community in the country.”

The Mustang Mach-E supports both Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC) charging, with DC fast charging up to 150kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 36-45 minutes. For home charging, a complimentary 3.5kW portable charger and 7kW wall box charger are included with the purchase.

Inside, the vehicle features a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a large 15.5-inch capacitive touchscreen powered by the SYNC 4A system, which includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A premium 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system is also standard. The cabin provides a comfortable experience with perforated ActiveX synthetic leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic glass roof. A unique “frunk” (front trunk) offers an additional 80 liters of storage space.

The vehicle comes with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including nine airbags and a 360-degree camera with a split-view function. The Titanium X trim also includes advanced driver-assist features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping aid, and blind spot information system. The Mustang Mach-E will be available starting in September at select Ford dealerships, including Ford Alabang, Ford Global City, and Ford Marikina.
