As of 11:00 p.m. on November 4, PAGASA said the warning applies only to the northernmost portion of Palawan, covering El Nido, Taytay, and Araceli, as well as Calamian and Cuyo Islands.

The typhoon is forecast to steadily re-intensify over the next days and may reach its peak intensity while over the West Philippine Sea. It is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning.
