Bad weather disrupts multiple domestic flights—CAAP

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported multiple flight disruptions as of 12:00 noon today, August 22, 2025, due to unfavorable weather conditions brought about by Tropical Depression “Isang.”

A total of nine (9) flights were disrupted, affecting 1,019 passengers.

  • CEB506: Manila – Tuguegarao
  • CEB507: Tuguegarao – Manila
  • CEB508: Manila – Tuguegarao
  • CEB509: Tuguegarao – Manila
  • CEB196: Manila – Cauayan
  • CEB197: Cauayan – Manila

Diverted flights:

PAL Express

  • GAP2957: Manila – Cotabato (Diverted to back to Manila)
  • GAP2963: Manila – Busuanga (Diverted to back to Manila)

CebGo

  • SRQ6068: Mactan – Busuanga (Diverted back to Mactan)

Passengers are advised to coordinate with their respective airlines for updated flight information and rebooking concerns.

CAAP continues to closely monitor weather developments and remains in active coordination with airline operators and airport authorities to ensure the safety and welfare of the traveling public.
