The Philippine Army and the Malaysian Army concluded their Training Activity (TA) Land MALPHI on Monday at the Armor Division Headquarters in Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac.
This training activity, which involved 23 personnel from the PA and 20 from the Malaysian Army, enhanced interoperability between the two land forces in conducting combined arms operations for territorial defense.
“The Philippine Army continues to participate in international engagements not only to enhance military relations with partner armies but also to sustain the momentum of its capability development as a world-class Army,” said Army Spokesperson Colonel Louie Dema-ala.
The exercise included participation from the PA’s Tank Battalion Battle Staff, augmented by staff officers from various units, including the Army Artillery Regiment, Combat Engineer Regiment, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne), Installation Management Command, and Army Support Command.
